We stayed at Lacaya and had lots of fun.On the way over Jon caught another huge Mahi. Too much fish for us-we through him back! We have had wonderful passages because we have the time to wait for our weather windows.Sailing is much more fun when you are able to do this.We planned to spend another week in the Bahamas, unfortunately the weather patterns weren't going to be favorable, so we crossed over the stream to Florida.Another great passage! We stayed in Lake Worth for the night and left the next morning for Vero Beach. We rented a car and cleared customs. Then we got hooked up to real life once again-cell phones, grocery stores, and of course all the traffic! UGH! It's so weird to be in the US once again. We stayed in Vero Beach a few days-very nice boater friendly town. Hooked up with Sea Angel once again. These are our friends we met in the Dominican Republic. We then left for Cocoa Beach along the Intracoastal Waterway. We are now in Daytona area and having a ball. The beaches are beautiful! We are at Seven Sea's Marina-very quaint and friendly. We are leaving here in a few days to head to St. Augustine and work our way North. Over 1,000 miles to go..... We will take our time and enjoy the east coast along the way. P.S Jonny caught a big Wahoo!!
Best wishes to all--see you soon!! Just Us
