Hi Everyone, We have been very busy traveling everyday to get closer to home. After we left Daytona, we headed to St Augustine Fla. A wonderful spot to stop . It took us 10 hrs. 70 miles.

We anchored for the night and then left early the next morning for Fernandina Beach Fla. A 9 hr trip. Great weather and beautiful dolphins everywhere.Left early the next morning for Georgia.

77 mile trip. We anchored in Walberg Creek. Peaceful and beautiful. Then the next day we awoke to a fabulous sunrise and headed 68 miles to Beaufort S.C. Another beautiful spot. Left early the next morning for Charleston S.C. 65 mile trip. Stayed at the Maritime Marina and visited with our friends Diane and Paul who live there. We had a wonderful time at their home and loved beautiful Charleston.We stayed a few days there and then left for a long day up the ICW to a little creek where we anchored for the night. It was a 100 mile trip.We are now traveling through North carolina. The next stop was South port N.C. Another 10 hr trip.Docked at the Provision Co. and had a wonderful dinner. Left the next morning for Wrightsville N.C. A great spot for young people.Left the next morning for 9 hrs to Beaufort N.C. Stayed at a wonderful dock and really enjoyed the town. Once again we left very early for a 77 mile trip to an anchorage called Noose Creek. Beautiful! Left early for Coinjock Marina.63 miles. Love it there. Jon and I haven't been here since 1986. So nice to be back. Left early for Norfolk Va.50mi

Lots of bridges to get through. Kind of a pain!! We stayed and enjoyed Norfolk for 2 days. Another place that is a must. Beautiful.Left the next morning to an anchorage in another creek in Va.Leaving in the morning to The Solomon Islands in Maryland.80 mi. We celebrated our friends 44th wedding anniversary that night on our boat. What a wonderful night. We left our buddy boaters the next morning for Annapolis Maryland.We will miss them. We will stay here for a few days to enjoy this fabulous place. What a town!!

Hi everyone, we left Nassau for Great Harbor in the Berry's. It was a 70 mile passage . It was a great day and Jon caught a Bluefin Tuna which made for a great dinner!We anchored in a nice harbor and left early the next day at sun up. Our next port was the island of the Grand Bahamas.

We stayed at Lacaya and had lots of fun.On the way over Jon caught another huge Mahi. Too much fish for us-we through him back! We have had wonderful passages because we have the time to wait for our weather windows.Sailing is much more fun when you are able to do this.We planned to spend another week in the Bahamas, unfortunately the weather patterns weren't going to be favorable, so we crossed over the stream to Florida.Another great passage! We stayed in Lake Worth for the night and left the next morning for Vero Beach. We rented a car and cleared customs. Then we got hooked up to real life once again-cell phones, grocery stores, and of course all the traffic! UGH! It's so weird to be in the US once again.We stayed in Vero Beach a few days-very nice boater friendly town. Hooked up with Sea Angel once again.These are our friends we met in the Dominican Republic.We then left for Cocoa Beach along the Intracoastal Waterway. We are now in Daytona area and having a ball. The beaches are beautiful! We are at Seven Sea's Marina-very quaint and friendly.We are leaving here in a few days to head to St. Augustine and work our way North. Over 1,000 miles to go..... We will take our time and enjoy the east coast along the way. P.S Jonny caught a big Wahoo!!

Hi all. Since we last left you we spent some time in Georgetown, Bahamas. It was so much fun. This is where we said goodbye to Tim and Richie. They were a great crew! We left for Big Major next to Staniel Cay. What a wonderful harbor! Pigs come out to greet you and to get some food. It was so funny. The sharks like to hang around you too! It was a very quaint island. From there we went to Warderick Wells-A beautiful national park. We were with our friends Ed, Benia, Heather and Scott.They have given us so much information along the way. We are so happy to know them all.Oh I forgot to tell you we ran into some friends from Block Island!! Jane and Allan on the Jane E. It was so nice to see them!!We left Warderick Wells yesterday and headed to Nassau . We are having a wonder time here. We will spend the day at the Atlantis in Paradise Island. Hi Everyone! When we last left you we were on our way from Salinas to Ponce, Puerto Rico.We picked up our crew- Richie and Tim. We left right away for the Dominican Republic. It was 270 miles-38hrs. We had a wonderful crossing through the Mona Passage. This was very rare as that passage can be very rough.We stayed in Ocean World Marina for one night and left the next day for Turks and Caicos. This was 170 miles-25 hrs. Again a nice passage. We are traveling with some friends we have met that have been a great help to us. They know these waters very well. They are Benia and Ed on Sea Angel. We arrived at South Side Marina. We were able to spend 2 days with my sister Deb and Bill. It was so much fun!!After that stop we headed to Long Island in the Bahamas.170 miles-25 hrs. Quaint Island. Very nice. We have to be very careful of the coral reefs. UGH!!We then went to Georgetown Bahamas.70 miles-9 hrs.Wonderful passage! This place is gorgeous. We anchored off of Volleyball Beach.We went to shore and spent some "quality" time at CHAT and CHILL--A great bar and restaurant.We all had a blast!!We will leave here on Tues. for Big Major. Hi everyone, It has been a while. Sorry, we are just having too much fun. It was nice to be back in the BVIs and the US VI and know the waters. We traveled to Tortolla, and Yost Van Dyke, and St Thomas and St John and all over. We met our friends Cyndy and Rob and their families. We had such a good time traveling with them all. Liam and Amy are getting so big. We love seeing those kids. Jen came too, for a week. We met her in Sophers Hole Tortolla ,and proceeded to travel to many different islands with her. I think our favorite was Caneel Bay St John. So beautiful and pristine. We went to many beautiful beaches and saw many people that we have met along the way. We hated to see Jen go. But as you know, time is a flying. We are now in Marina De Salinas in Puerto Rico. We went to Culebra and Palmas Del Mar before this. We are making a long passage across the Mona Passage on Tuesday. Then we will be in the Dominican Republic.

Water World is supposed to be wonderful!! Richie is flying in to help us with the passage.

Hi Everyone! We just left St Martin yesterday morning. We are now in Virgin Gorda BVI.

It was a smooth sail back across the Anegada Passage. Wind at our back and low seas. Very comfortable. It took us 10 or so hours. No fish activity. We left our good friends Stephanie and Thierry, Maeva and Jade. Also Laurant and Claire and his parents Jean Claude and Jacquelyn

from France. I been brushing up on my French since we have all been together. Jonny attended the French school the other day. It was quite an experience for him!! We are very fortunate to have such good friends on St Martin. We will miss them dearly!

To all our family and friends, Happy Easter next weekend. We will miss being together with you all. Enjoy the picts. Love you and Miss you

Just Us

Happy St. Pattys Day! We have had so much fun with all our friends,new and old, from PA. and New York. They were all here for a while and we got together at the beach or on our boat or at David and Jaime's villa. There was Cookie and Denny from PA. There was David and Jaime from NY. There was Stephanie, Thierry, Maeva, and Jade From St Martin. There was Leah and Bill,Terry and Lori, Joe and Jackie, Ashley and Ben, (adorable couple),Edie and Lily,.

and Terry 3, and Maryann and Terry Sr. All from Pa. What a crew!! We enjoyed each and every one of them. We hope to see them on our way back, in Annapolis. It is amazing all the wonderful people we have met on this journey. We will be in St. martin for another week. Then we make our way to the BVIs to meet up with the Floods,our friends from NJ.
