We anchored for the night and then left early the next morning for Fernandina Beach Fla. A 9 hr trip. Great weather and beautiful dolphins everywhere.Left early the next morning for Georgia.
77 mile trip. We anchored in Walberg Creek. Peaceful and beautiful. Then the next day we awoke to a fabulous sunrise and headed 68 miles to Beaufort S.C. Another beautiful spot. Left early the next morning for Charleston S.C. 65 mile trip. Stayed at the Maritime Marina and visited with our friends Diane and Paul who live there. We had a wonderful time at their home and loved beautiful Charleston.We stayed a few days there and then left for a long day up the ICW to a little creek where we anchored for the night. It was a 100 mile trip.We are now traveling through North carolina. The next stop was South port N.C. Another 10 hr trip.Docked at the Provision Co. and had a wonderful dinner. Left the next morning for Wrightsville N.C. A great spot for young people.Left the next morning for 9 hrs to Beaufort N.C. Stayed at a wonderful dock and really enjoyed the town. Once again we left very early for a 77 mile trip to an anchorage called Noose Creek. Beautiful! Left early for Coinjock Marina.63 miles. Love it there. Jon and I haven't been here since 1986. So nice to be back. Left early for Norfolk Va.50mi
Lots of bridges to get through. Kind of a pain!! We stayed and enjoyed Norfolk for 2 days. Another place that is a must. Beautiful.Left the next morning to an anchorage in another creek in Va.Leaving in the morning to The Solomon Islands in Maryland.80 mi. We celebrated our friends 44th wedding anniversary that night on our boat. What a wonderful night. We left our buddy boaters the next morning for Annapolis Maryland.We will miss them. We will stay here for a few days to enjoy this fabulous place. What a town!!
